Collegiate Proformance

The elite Proformance program can be broken down into five phases, each focusing on a specific aspect of athletic development:

  1. Speed Phase: This phase aims to enhance linear and lateral speed, incorporating exercises such as sprints, agility drills, and speed-focused weight training.

  2. Movement Phase: The movement phase concentrates on improving overall movement quality, flexibility, and mobility through dynamic stretching, corrective exercises, and movement pattern drills.

  3. Nutrition Phase: Nutrition is a crucial component of the program, emphasizing the importance of fueling the body for optimal performance. This phase involves educating athletes about proper nutrition, meal planning, and hydration strategies.

  4. Regeneration Phase: The regeneration phase is dedicated to recovery and injury prevention. It includes techniques such as foam rolling, stretching, low-impact conditioning, and adequate rest to support the body's recovery process.

  5. High School Athletics

Preparatory Phase: This phase focuses on developing basic athletic attributes such as speed, strength, power, endurance, flexibility, balance, agility, and coordination. It typically includes a hypertrophy phase, a strength phase, and a power phase.

Specific Preparation Phase: During this phase, the training becomes more specific to the demands of the sport. It involves exercises and drills that are tailored to the particular movements and skills required for the athlete's sport.

Competition Phase: This phase is centered around the competitive season and includes fine-tuning the athlete's skills, maintaining fitness, and ensuring peak performance during competitions.

Recovery/Transition Phase: Following the competition phase, this phase focuses on recovery and preparing for the next training cycle or season. It may involve lower-intensity training, rest, and activities that support physical and mental recovery.

Mindset and Goal Setting Phase: This phase emphasizes mental conditioning, goal setting, and visualization techniques to enhance focus, confidence, and resilience in competitive situations. It aims to develop the athlete's mindset for success both on and off the field.
